The last thing Jesus did before returning to the Father was give his disciples a simple command—Go.
At The Edge, it is our joy to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to every person on the planet. As the sons and daughters of God, we have been commissioned by our Father to not only point others towards heaven, but to bring heaven here on the earth as we reach out personally, locally and globally with our words and our works.
We further recognize God’s heart and love for those who are oppressed, overlooked and under resourced. Our community is committed to bringing God’s love, kindness, compassion, and justice to the marginalized, powerless and oppressed—choosing to give and serve generously with our time, resources and privileges with those who have little, less or none.
We believe that this is one of the clearest and most compelling apologetics to a hungry, hurting and skeptical world.
After joining The Edge, God breathed new vision into Erin's life, calling her to follow him to East Africa, where she currently ministers to the disabled and supports the local church.
Ken + Ruth Taylor
The Taylors moved into the mission field relatively late in life, leaving the U.S. officially in 2010 for Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where they minister to local believers, expats, and those affected by sexual abuse, addiction, and exploitation.
Joelle McNamara + BADALA
At 17, Joelle founded Badala, a non-profit organization that offers employment and educational opportunities to widows and orphans in East Africa and Central America.
